POPULAR DOG BREEDS AND THEIR CHARACTERISTICS

It is indeed almost impossible to answer with certainty the total breeds of dogs, because for centuries dogs have been selectively bred either through cross breeding i.e. between different breeds or by inbreeding i.e  breeding of same breed. However, according to American Kennel Club (AKC) , a registry of purebred dog pedigree in USA, dogs breeds are classified into 08 groups.

8. Miscellaneous Class

The above mentioned groups contains more than 200 dogs breed, here we will only describe the characteristics of those breeds which are most popular dog breeds in the world 2019.Dogs have many breeds and their characters are determined by  their associations.Dogs have a wide variety in terms of their shape,size and personality traits .In case you are bringing a dog to your home you must look for a dog breed that suits your household composition,your lifestyle and how much grooming you are able to provide. 

1. Labrador retriever : (Sporting group) 

Color :    Dark brown,Yellowish-golden, Black.

Weight : Male 30-35kg        Female 27-31kg.

Height :  56-60 cm.

Basis characteristics : Affectionate with family, Kid friendly, Easy to groom, Highly intelligent, Playful, Easy to train.

2. Yorkshire terrier dog : (Toy group)

5. Golden retriever : (Sporting group)
